Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins is a Mexican American Sportscaster. She's an ESPN anchor for news and also hosts SportsNation occasionally. She began working for ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. In 1992 the family left Mexico to the US and was settled in Miami. Their divorce was soon followed and in 1995 her mother got married to a naval architect named Fabio Fajardo who passed away from kidney cancer in the year 2006. The couple remained at Canton Ohio with her older sister throughout the summer which was the time she received a job. Antonietta was a senior in high school with an idea of what she wanted her life to be, decided to visit Mount Union University in order to find out whether the university was suitable for her. The campus was a dream for her. It also gave her the program she was interested in. She graduated from high school and was accepted at the university as a media studies major. Her relationship lasted for a while with her professor Mark Bergmann who was the manager of WRMU 91.1 FM, a station of which she was a participant. His passion for journalism and her self-confidence inspired her. In turn, she attempted to live up to his expectations and never fail him.
