Angela Evelyn Bassett has been an American actor since the late 1980s. Since the mid 80s Angela Evelyn has appeared in film and TV. The actress has won several awards, among them the 16 NAACP Image Awards. Bassett grew up living in Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by her aunt in New York New York. When Bassett was around five, she and her sister moved into St. Petersburg, Florida to stay with their mother who was been divorced from her father. Bassett was at the age of high school when she saw the James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck in the play Of Mice and Men and knew that her dream to become an actor been born. Following her graduation from Yale University New Haven Connecticut in the year 1980, she earned the Bachelor's degree in African American Studies, she went on to earn a Master's Degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance was also an actor at Yale. They married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. the Yale School of Drama awarded a Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett back in the year. She was a student at the school following: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for seventh graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th & 9th grades and Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett, who plays Ramonda the female protagonist in the film adventure I. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
